Sleepless awake

Now the time is quarter to eight in the morning, and it is monday. I am awake and have been so since noon yesterday. It is not like I have been sitting starring at the tele all night long. I went to bed at midnight with the optimistic notion that it would make me rise up earlier than usual. However, ever since I got back from Ethiopia I have developed a minor sleep disorder, or insomnia might be another word for it. I simply cannot sleep at all. On a regular night I usually fall asleep at around four in the morning. Leading ofcourse me to wake up towards noon the next day.
So, last night I was spending 7 glorious hours starring at the ceiling in my room. Though, here is the funny segment. The expected result of that should be me feeling like a walking-dead right now, but I don't. I simply feel like a newly awoken fresh individual. More fresh than usually in the mornings.
Now, I have two ideas of what this is due to. First, I have simply not slept at all which leads me to think that I am still on the same day as yesterday and hence I have not allowed myself to be tired just yet. Probably, if so, I will crash and burn in a couple of hours.
The second conclusion I have drawn is that I got more rest by simply lying still in my bed resting, than I usually get by sleeping late and waking up in the middle of the day.
Either way I feel good and probably will last the rest of the day, and atleast I can be assured that tonight I will be sufficiently tired to fall asleep on a decent hour and revive my day rythm. Good morning to you all and hope you'll have a pleasant day.

The way it looks right now outside my house. Haven't seen a morning at home for quite a while.

Jello again.

Changed my mind. Will probably use this blog instead. or maybe post on both. So if you happen to read this on. Stay tuned. Now I am going out for a good night fag, and in the meantime I am going to think of something clever to write. Now I am just going to post some pictures I snapped in ethiopia. Soon my photo site will be up and running, Where I will publish a small selection of the 2500 pictures I took in Ethiopia.

This one is of a small lake close to Addis Ababa, called Lake Hora.

This is our little house kitten, randomly named Vladimir Putin, the other one was called Mordechai Vanunu.

This is how they live, atleast in the outbacks. Yes, the houses are made of dirt and something closely related to shit

This is a little boy down south in Ethiopia. Isn't it a bit Schindler's List Style

Here is baboon, with a child. I snapped this one in Arbaminch in the south of Ethiopia.
And the finally a little salute to one of my friends.
Here is Nareg and I in Giza on our way back to civilization

That was all for this time folks. But do remember that do marry, if you marry a good wife, you'll be happy. If you marry a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Aha, Back online.

Just to refer to previous post, I am now online again on this domain. However, currently I have been using my other blog on www.blog.danielahlsen.com. But since I never write anything anyways, it doesn't really matter much.

Hello, Just testing

My blog has been broken for a decade or so. So now I am just trying something out. The chances are that it doesn't work.
